Solution

FasTest engineered a set of electrical header leak test connectors, ensuring a robust, precise, and consistent leak-proof seal. Additionally, FasTest supplied a specialized leak test connector tailored for the gortex de-gas valve, known for its intricate connection profiles. Complementing these custom solutions, FasTest’s standard VDA series connectors seamlessly integrated with the battery’s thermodynamic circuit. Beyond these offerings, FasTest provided advanced connector solutions for motors, inverters, and various coolant conduits.

Results

The customer achieved their production objectives and experienced improvements in first pass yield, battery through-put, and decreased the test tool rig and de-rig time. They also had far less down time due to the durability of the seals that are designed to be used in high volume production. When maintenance was needed, FasTest had a system in place with replacement parts available at the ready. This customer is now working with FasTest to drive consistent and repeatable testing practices across all their plants globally.
