Mechanical Verification of Positive Connection Enhances Operator Safety
Minneapolis, MN—September 4, 2017—FasTest, Inc. The leader in quick connectors for leak testing and fluid transfer applications introduces new SurConnect™ technology to its 60 Series and 70 Series product families designed for connection to male threads and formed tubing profiles. 
The SurConnect system uses a green colored ring as a mechanical verification feature that indicates when a positive connection has been made between the FasTest connector and the test piece. Using the easy push/pull sleeve action to make a connection, the green ring becomes visible only when the connector has been fully pushed onto the test piece, creating an instant, leak-free and reliable connection up to 750psi.
FasTest connection tools are used by leading manufactures because they save valuable time, significantly reduce the likelihood of leaks at the point of connection as is often the case with “home made” solutions and enhance operator safety. Simply put they pay for themselves through enhanced productivity and safety. The new green color SurConnect increases performance even further as it provides operators with a visual indication of when the connection has been properly made, thereby reducing failed tests and potential operator-related safety issues. “Our 60 Series and 70 Series product families provide customers with a robust connection solution for high pressure test applications. It is imperative during these types of tests that operators make a secure connection before introducing pressure.
