New FasTest Electric Torque Gun for CoreMax® Assembly
Precision Torque Gun Ensures a Reliable, Leak-Free Seal for CoreMax Valve
Minneapolis, MN— June 17, 2019—FasTest, Inc. introduces the new electric torque gun for reliable assembly of its CoreMax® valves.
FasTest’s CoreMax® Electric Torque Gun is used to properly install and torque the CoreMax® valve into the CoreMax® seat, ensuring that a leak-free seal is achieved. The new battery-operated tool is precisely calibrated by FasTest before delivery to ensure that the proper installation torque is applied at the correct speed, improving First Pass Yield. The torque gun is intended for OEM applications, where precisely torqued CoreMax® Valves are critical to leak-free refrigeration system performance.
The new CoreMax® Torque Gun is equipped with a long-life 20V, 5 Ah battery that is capable of hundreds of torque cycles per charge. Additionally, the Torque Gun is IoT compatible, allowing manufacturers to collect data on a unit-by-unit basis. “This enhanced CoreMax® Torque Gun makes the installation of CoreMax® valves more efficient,” said Tom Braun, Vice President of Product Development at FasTest. “These new features will allow our customers to more readily enjoy the high-flow, leak-free benefits of FasTest’s CoreMax® refrigerant process system.
